Nobbys Shack

Can’t believe I haven’t known about this Nobby Beach gem before yesterday! Was in the area and thanks to a listing on myNRMA app I was able to try for Brunch and loved everything about this friendly and eclectic cafe/bar/restaurant. Great atmosphere, friendly service, wonderful garden area at rear. Plus…bathrooms on site, a great playlist, and a playground for the littlies! I’ll definitely be back and recommend if you are looking for somewhere a little different which also ticks all the above important boxes.

Nobby's Shack is an absolute gem! It's such a rare treat to find a place that offers delicious, healthy food with plant-based options while keeping the kids entertained. Their playground, colouring kits, sandpit, and games make dining out with kids genuinely enjoyable. I had the vegan tofu scramble – it didn't quite match the photo, but it was still super tasty! The vegan chocolate muffin was yummy too! My order got mixed up, and the manager kindly brought over a delicious raw carrot bliss ball as a bonus. Totally recommend this spot! It's perfect for foodies, kids, and parents. It’s truly a local treasure!

We were in the mood for a yummy protein shake on Saturday so googled and this place came up. Mind you we live down the road and haven't been there yet so decided being a local it was a must do. On arrival we were thoroughly impressed with the menu, so much to choose from from a range of not the norm yummy protein shakes (let's be honest, we are all sick to death of plain protein shakes, we are being healthy yes but we still want it to taste indulgent like we are being naughty and treating ourselves) I ordered the chocolate expresso one and Dave ordered The nuts about cacao one. We placed our order then walked out the back of the Cafe to find the cutest little sunny courtyard with timber picnic style tables. The lovely girls brought out our order and we were chuffed. They were both amazing and so filling too. We sat there and enjoyed the sun and have decided we will definitely be back and have brekky next time, as while we were sitting there we were drooling watching all the different dishes and shakes being brought out to the surrounding tables. The brekkie burrito looks huge and they have some combo deal where u can get a shake and a burrito for under $20 which as you all know we love a penny pinching bargain . Definitely recommend if you live close by go in and check it out, perfect spot to meet friends for brekky.

Fantastic service and incredible fresh food. Really nice back area to dine in. Super kid friendly and I felt like I got a little escape from the city due the environment around the back. The staff really make an effort to make you feel welcome Somewhere I will continue to dine in

Pet-friendly and large off-street outdoor seating perfect for peaceful coffee and breakfast Don’t judge from the outside Nobby Shack has an amazing selection of healthy foods, snacks and desserts. We come here almost everyday. The owner is a lovely person who look after the customers well.

The coffee is excellent and great price. Great to avoid the queues and long wait at other places in the area. They afternoon food is great too.

We visited Nobby's Shack yesterday for brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere. We ordered a Mocha and Matcha coffee, both of which were perfectly brewed—smooth and rich in flavor. For brunch, we had the Smashed Feta Avo and Scrambled Tofu, and both dishes were fresh, delicious, and filling. The family seating at the back is great for those who want a quieter, relaxed space, and we appreciated the decent amount of space inside, where we sat comfortably. Nobby’s Shack is definitely a spot we’ll be returning to, especially for the welcoming ambiance and the tasty, wholesome healthy food!
